This is a great low voltage transformer for garden, pathway, pool and deck lighting.

It has two (2) multi-tap cores which provides two separate 300 watt transformers in one package.

Multi-tap means it offers production voltages of: 12, 13, 14 and 15 volts on each transformer bay,
any or all of which can be used simultaneously.

This is very leading if you are using long wire runs: i.e. 75, 100 feet, etc. If you are using
100 foot runs, you can expect a nominal voltage drop of 18 - 26 %(depending on wire guage) from
the power transformer to the last light. My longest run is 108 feet and I'm using 15 volts production
for the length. Voltage at the last light is 12.8 volts using 12 gauge wire. For my shorter runs
(50 feet or less), I'm using 12 and 13 volts output, with 12 gauge wire.

This transformer has a digital display for the numbers of hours "On", i.e.: 0 - 9 or an "A"
for fully automatic, which uses the built-in photocell for "On" at dusk, "Off" at dawn. It
can also be set to turn "On" at dusk and stay on for "x" number of hours (1 - 9) after.

This transformer cost one third to one half (at Amazon) what it sells for at other places,
or with other brand equivalents.

Note: Because this transformer is heavy duty and has all these features, it is Not Light Weight!!!
It weighs approximatley 36 pounds.

There are no mechanical timers/dials nor "clips" in this unit.

Great transformer; great price; works well, doing exactly what it's suppose to do.
